For almost 20 years, the Auto Book Prize has been honouring the best books on the subjects of automobiles and mobility. The award ceremony took place in 2020 under strict safety and hygiene regulations at Motorworld Munich. A top-class jury led by J\u00fcrgen Lewandowski selected the winners in the categories brand book, biography, motor sports and design from more than 80 new publications. It also awarded several special prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jury’s reasons<\/strong>
“With this book, the history of the Porsche 993 is sketched in a very dignified framework, and at the same time backed up with such extensive information that there will probably be few reasons to write another book on this success story in the future”.<\/p>

To mark the 25th anniversary of the Porsche 993, Tony Hatter and Bernd Kahnau gave the first intensive insights into the development phase in detailed interviews. The two “fathers” of the 993 were present at the book award ceremony in Munich. A heartfelt “thank you” to J\u00fcrgen Lewandowski and the jury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
