Customers also had the option of choosing from 6 metallic colours at extra cost: Polar Silver Metallic, Iris Blue Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Aventurine Green Metallic, Slate Grey Metallic and Black Metallic.  <\/p>\n\n<p>However, the colour selection for the 911 Carrera RS 3.8 of the 993 generation was significantly smaller in the 1995 and 1996 model years. Customers could choose from 5 standard colours. The Porsche designers at Colour &amp; Trim were particularly successful with the Riviera Blue colour, which was an excellent match for the 993 RS. But all the other available colours were also very harmonious.
