Michael Schnabl welcomed the guests and presented many Porsche highlights from the model years 1965 to 1973 in his showroom loft. Mezger and Pi\u00ebch jointly developed the legendary six-cylinder boxer engine for the Porsche 911. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"832\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 464 \/ 832;\" width=\"464\" controls=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/berlinmotorbooks.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Video-Quickblau.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n<p>Until 2023, the Porsche community did not know that prototype number 6 still existed. Alois Ruf restored the vehicle for the 60th anniversary of its presentation at the 1963 IAA. Together with Toni Lapine, she had designed, among other things, the now legendary &#8220;Pascha Velour&#8221; upholstery design.
