Since 1948, Porsche had built its sports cars with air-cooled flat-six and flat-four engines.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Exactly 50 years later, in 1998, the air-cooled era of the Porsche 911 came to an end. No model could have brought this era to a more fitting close than the Porsche 993. Today, the last air-cooled Porsche 911 enjoys true cult status. The 993 generation is among the most sought-after classic 911s.<\/p>\n

Alongside the standard Porsche 993 models, \u201cLuftgek\u00fchlt 4\u201d pays particular attention to the special editions. The 993 generation gave rise to several outstanding limited-production models, including the 360 PS 993 Turbo Cabriolet from 1994. Like every special edition, the 993 Turbo S from the final model year, 1998, naturally receives its own chapter. Another of these fascinating limited-production models is the 911 GT2, with 430 PS for model years 1995 to 1997 and 450 PS for 1998.<\/p>\n
