Porsche 911 Calendar 2026: The calendar for the legendary F-Series from model years 1965 to 1973.
By the time the 1971 factory holidays came to an end, the Porsche 911 had already been in production for over seven years. The Porsche 911 T Coupé entered its penultimate model year at the end of 1971 and had meanwhile scaled considerable heights of quality. The increase in displacement to 2.2 litres at the end of 1969 was followed by the next change in the 1972 model year, when displacement was increased again across the entire engine range, this time to 2,341 cc. Our January calendar page features a 1972 Porsche 911 T 2.4. This beautiful 911 Coupé was painted in light ivory.
The Porsche 911 Targa will also celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025, as it was first unveiled in 1965.
The Porsche 911 Targa, “the world’s first safety convertible,” was first presented to the public in September 1965 at the IAA in Frankfurt. With a fixed roll bar, a removable folding roof, and a folding rear window, the newly developed Targa concept was the answer to the increased safety requirements of American customers. However, it took more than a year for series production to begin, which only started after the factory holidays in 1966 with the 1967 model year. Our calendar page for February shows a beautiful 911 E 2.4 Targa in metallic green.
The Carrera RS 2.7 is one of the greatest rarities among the air-cooled generations of the Porsche 911.
“Only 500 men will drive it” – with this slogan, Porsche advertised its new flagship model in 1972, which would make history under the name Carrera RS. The first 911 RS clearly eclipsed everything that had come before it. It reached 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds, and its top speed was a then-incredible 245 km/h. To this day, the first 911 to feature front and rear spoilers as standard remains a legend. Our June calendar page features the Carrera RS 2.7 in the M472 Touring version.
The Porsche 911 S 2.0 “Red Baron” was used by Porsche in the 1967 Coupe des Alpes.
Our December calendar page features a very special vehicle. This 911 S 2.0 was used as a factory racing car by Porsche in preparation for the 1968 Monte Carlo Rally. Equipped with a racing exhaust and an optimized carburetor system, it produced almost 180 hp. You can read the story of Vic Elford and the 911 S 2.0 “Red Baron” in the new book “Porsche 911 F-Model – 60 YEARS.”
