First Pit Stop

The Porsche 907 LH of Siffert/ Herrmann, which finished in second place, comes into the pits for refuelling and a driver change during the 24-hour race, Helmuth Bott gets first-hand information from the driver. Firefighters stand ready with their extinguishers just in case, an army of photographers stands in front of the racing car. Hans Mezger keeps calm during the race and captures this unique scene with his Kodak Retina Reflex.
