Second Pit Stop
The 24 Hours of Daytona took place on 3 and 4 February 1968. Hans Mezger is on site with the Porsche team at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Hans Mezger and his team had developed the engines for the Porsche 907. In the pit lane, he manages to capture a series of unique shots. The two works Porsches are dispatched at a simultaneous pit stop. The eventual winner with the starting number 54 of Elford/ Neerpasch/ Siffert/ Stommelen/ Herrmann is behind the runner-up with the starting number 52 of Siffert/ Herrmann. Helmuth Bott stands next to number 54 and monitors the whole process.
